An Introduction to Baby Blobs
Baby Blobs is a collection of 8078 cute interactive Blob NFTs. These unique collectibles living on the Solana blockchain are the creation of Sway, a 17-year-old, and his 19 year-old sister Bloodie. Their vision, building an ever-growing story and ecosystem in which the Blobs reside in. The Baby Blobs collection is the prologue of that story. We want to create an opportunity for Solana users to participate in what will hopefully be a smooth NFT experience with an original idea and a chance to be part of and shape this Blobby story.
Heavily motivated after seeing projects such as BAYC, Cool Cats and Pudgy Penguins, our goal is to achieve the status that they have acquired through extensive community engagement and bringing Baby Blobs to the largest audience possible. For this reason, we decided to build on Solana as gas prices on Ethereum would make minting impossible for many collectors and we also believe that with the recent SOL hype, we will have more eyes on us at launch.
Baby Blobs will be split into a range of different rarities, each filled with lots of diverse traits to discover, many of which will play a role in the future of your Blobs journey, but that is a secret for now. Try not to splat them in the mean time though.
We will be launching on November 2nd at 20:00 UTC so mark your calendars, the minting price is 1 SOL.
